If you’re like most people, you’ve experienced imposter syndrome at least once. You know, when self-doubt creeps in or criticism from others sticks with you long after compliments have been forgotten. It’s very common, so don’t worry you’re not alone.
Today’s Front-Row Friday video shows you how you can overcome self-doubt, imposter syndrome or even negative criticism.
Here’s a hint: anchor on what’s good. Anchor on what you know to be true about you and the value you add to the world. Don’t allow negative self-talk, negative comments, or negative feedback to hang on longer than it’s value to you.
The best hack I know is to have a journal and label it “Win List”. Keep track, in one place, all of your wins, your compliments, and your accomplishments. This will make it so much easier to anchor on the positive especially when voices of doubt are heard. So flip the script! And watch today’s’ video on just what that looks like.
Have a great day and I’ll see you in the front-row!
Marilyn,
Hi. I love your videos and website. How did you published your first book? Self Publishing or through a publishing companies? If you were to do our book publishing over would you do anything differently? I am writing my first book. Who filmed your presentations? I worked in the healthcare for many years and I am a public speaker for Toastmasters International. I am shifting my perspective and work and I am struggling to do this. Peter Pizor turned me on to your wonderful website and videos.
