Have you ever seen someone else who doesn’t speak all the time, but when they do, people listen? That is power. The difference is, mindset.
Why have a bucket list? Here are three reasons to encourage you to go for your dreams to get you closer to your front-row:
1. Having a bucket list gives you a sense of purpose – It gives you a reason to get up and do what you have to do, and to endure the pain of discipline.
Are you stuck in your pursuit of your goals and dreams? Maybe you’re chasing the white rabbit. I read a story by the famous ventriloquist Terry Fator where he talked about “Chasing the White Rabbit”. His white rabbit was validation from his dad. He spent his childhood and early adulthood chasing recognition from his dad that he was funny and talented.
Have you ever been confronted by someone who was angry either in person or by email or text? Have you ever regretted how you reacted? Usually, when we say things we didn’t mean, or said the wrong thing with the wrong tone of voice in front of the wrong people, we reacted to a situation instead of responding.
It’s a huge weekend for sports fans with the Super Bowl on Sunday. But many people don’t really care. In fact, if you watch today’s Front-Row Friday video, you’ll hear how I was the ONLY one in a hotel lounge one year watching the big game.
