This week, I was struggling to come up with a theme for my Front-Row Friday message. Nothing was clicking, so I did what I always do when I need clarity—I asked myself a simple question: What do I know for sure? And the answer came fast and clear: I know for sure that I am 100% responsible for where I am sitting right now in my life. Every choice I’ve made up until today has led me to this very moment. The seat I’m in—whether it’s my career seat, my health seat, or my friendship seat—is a direct result of those choices. And here’s the game-changer: There is no blame game. I don’t get to point fingers at other people. Not at the economy, not at the government, not at my circumstances, and certainly not at bad luck. When we take full responsibility for our choices, we take back our power. That is the real secret to success. I want you to try using the phrase “up until today.” Think about it—up until today, your decisions have placed you exactly where you are. But the best part? If you don’t like the seat you’re in, you have the power to change it. Because starting today, you can make different choices. So, on this Front Row Friday, I challenge you to take full responsibility for where you are sitting in life. Own it. No excuses, no blame—just personal accountability. And if you’re not happy with your seat, remember: You are not stuck. You have the power to move. Happy Front-Row Friday! Let’s step up, take ownership, and keep moving forward. |
