Recently a friend reminded me that life is short and don’t forget to live vs. just exist. He gave me no other explanation than that! So, upon reflection, I realized I am doing that. On Tuesday, I spoke in Las Vegas to a group of engineers for 90 minutes. I was the subject matter expert on motivation, inspiration, and living life in the front-row. I had a blast and felt amazing after doing what I was born to do. Then, I hopped on a plane the next day and flew to Paris to continue my French Immersion training. I must tell you, last night at a welcome dinner with my friends, I was NOT the subject matter expert! I was out of my comfort zone, but due to my consistent study I’m further along than ever. This time, I participated more in French. I understood more! I also got a bit lost getting there, but that’s the fun part of taking risks! You get lost, you find your way, then you know better for next time. THAT is living! So, on this Front-Row Friday, I encourage you to take risks, learn something new, do something hard, and experience something that you would say is truly living your life, and not just existing.
Until next time, have an amazing Front-Row Friday –
Your Head Usher,
