Where do you go to see examples of excellence? I just finished speaking at four events for High Point University in North Carolina. If you have not heard of it, check them out (www.HighPointU.org). It is like no other University that I’ve ever witnessed. They set the bar for excellence and success. One of the reasons they have been so successful is the vision and execution of that vision by their president, Dr. Nido Qubein. He did not follow a blueprint on how to improve upon a university, as a businessman first, he created his own blueprint based not on academic principles, but business principles. The results are evident.
I encourage you to look outside of your own industry to find examples of success. And, if you want to be blown away by a creative and innovative way to forge a new path, look at HPU.
