How are you? Today’s Front-Row Friday message is about course-correction. Are you on your path to the front-row? Do you feel great about the people you’ve invited to your front-row? Have you made a decision that is actually not the best decision for you? It’s never too late to course-correct. Let me explain.
I’m finishing up my 2nd week of a three week immersion course in Paris to learn French. I know a little, but not nearly enough as I would like. I found the school here in Paris, enrolled and showed up. I guess my oral skills were MUCH better than my comprehension because after the initial oral exam to place me in a level, it was over my head. I tried for the full week and then realized, I was lost. I almost pushed through, but then realized, if I don’t know more than half of what people are talking about in class, I’m more frustrated than benefitting from being here. So I made the choice to take myself out of the level and go back to basics. I’m so glad I did! I actually understand the professors and have more confidence in asking questions when I’m not sure. This was a course-correct that I didn’t anticipate. Take a look at your seats in your life. If there is any seat that for you isn’t in the front-row, I encourage you to correct your course of action and make different decisions. You’ll be glad you did!

P.S. Be sure to follow my daily Front-Row moments found on Facebook. I usually don’t post pictures of food, but this trip has been so amazing with the food that I couldn’t resist. I think that food and wine is the love language of France. Enjoy!
