Have you ever been disappointed by someone not meeting your expectations? It happens all the time. I encourage you to minimize your disappointment by spending a little more time upfront with clarifying your expectations to begin with. When someone says “I’ll get that to you by the end of the week.” Try clarifying by saying “Did you mean by Friday or Saturday?”. Or if they say, “I’ll deliver it by the end of the day.” Use, “Did you mean 5:00? Would that be Eastern time or Pacific?”
A little bit of clarity can go a long way to minimize your disappointment when expectations are involved.
Have an amazing front-row Friday and enjoy today’s video where the inspiration for today’s message came from an unlikely source!
Your head usher,
