Happy Monday! Yes, last week was a blur of travel and prickly news which brings me to this week’s late edition of Front-Row Friday.
When YOU get bad news, remember the ol’ phrase about “When you get a cactus, it doesn’t mean you have to sit on it.” Meaning, bad things will happen, bad news will come across your desk, loss will inevitable darken your door. But, you don’t have to make it worse by horriblizing the news. Yes, I know, that’s a word I made up when you take bad news and make it worse and only focus on the worst-case scenario.
If you get bad news, reach out to your inner circle for help and council. And, if you don’t have a front-row friend that you can call when you get bad news, call me. Enjoy today’s video and don’t sit on any cacti today.
Your head usher,
Marilyn
