Are you going back to live, in-person events? How has re-entry been for you? I’ve seen in-person events come back, although the jury is still out on the Delta variant that may affect fall events.
But, if you are attending conferences and conventions or even meetings in person, how do you let others know your comfort level when it comes to social distancing? There are no right or wrong ways to feel. If you need to keep your distance and prefer air high-fives, that’s perfectly okay. If you are open to hugging, that’s your choice too. But how do you let others know without that awkwardness when you first see people?
I have a solution from the National Speakers Association. I recently attended our annual convention that was a hybrid event. I chose to attend in person, especially since it was held here in Las Vegas where I live. Upon registering you could choose your boundary for social distancing in the form of a colored badge. I thought it was a great idea that you may want to adopt for your next event. In fact, it might not be a bad idea when going out in public! Watch today’s front-row Friday video to see which one I chose.
Have an amazing day and I hope you enjoy the view from your own front-row.
