What’s your story? Do you have stories from your youth that are fascinating? Are you passing down the stories from your parents or grand parents to your children? Have you called a cousin lately to share stories?
As our visit to our family in France comes to a conclusion, I’m am reminded of the importance of stories. In particular, this morning I heard stories of Yves and his cousin Bernadette. Her dad, married to Yves aunt, was a prisoner of war for five years. Imagine the stories he had! After the war, he became a lawyer and a successful judge and get this, lived until he was 103 years old!
Again, imagine the stories!
Fortunately, I was able to learn more about my mother and father in-law whom I never met through stories that were shared today. I had a front-row seat listening to them remember the good times, the fun times, the moments that they cherished with their families and now are sharing with me.
On this Front-Row Friday, share a story or two. Then, find a way to create more.
Au revoir for now,
Marilyn
